Mission

We are seeking a Product Test Engineer to join our Rapid Additive Manufacturing Lab. This role will contribute to our groundbreaking work in 3D additive manufacturing, supporting the development of high-performance footwear prototypes and one-of-a-kind products for our most high-profile product lines.

Responsibility:

Support daily lab operations:

  • Gain hands-on experience with multiple 3D printing technologies (SLS, SDM, FDM, and Objet).
  • Understand the advantages of each technology and how they accelerate decision-making for footwear.
  • Conduct post-process operations, ensuring parts are delivered to stakeholders on time.
  • Maintain, clean, and prepare 3D printing machines for optimal performance.
  • Manage raw material inventory and coordinate reordering with the Materials team.
  • Operate department machines safely while adhering to PPE requirements.
  • Learn and execute the digital workflows for request intake, build creation, and stakeholder notifications.

Enhance manufacturing processes:

  • Test and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) established by engineers.
  • Provide feedback to improve operational workflows.
  • Focus on accelerating product performance, improving quality, and optimizing speed to market.

Collaborate across teams:

  • Partner with engineers, specialists, conceptors, and materials teams to deliver high-quality footwear prototypes.

Profile

Qualification:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Additive Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in 3D additive manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards and industrial practices, such as CNC machining.
  • Proficiency with multiple 3D printing platforms (SLS, SDM, FDM, Objet); experience with PolyJet and metal 3D printing is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • A passion for creativity, problem-solving, and making things better.
